St. Jacob of Nisibis - Pocket Saints

St. Jacob of Nisibis, called the "Moses of Mesopotamia," was the Bishop of Nisibis.  Called a Confessor of the Faith, St. Jacob: suffered persecution under Emperor Maximian, conducted what has been called the first known search for Noah's Ark, performed miracles, was the spiritual father of St. Ephrem, was present at the first council of Nicaea, and was instrumental in battling against the Arian heresy.
