St. Nicholas of Tolentino - Pocket Saints

St Nicholas of Tolentino was a preacher, peacemaker, miracle worker, priest, and an Augustinian friar.    Devoted to prayer, preaching, and helping the people he ministered, St. Nicholas healed many people and performed many miracles - telling people "say nothing of this" and telling them to give the glory to God.  On one mission, St. Nicholas felt weak and received a vision telling him to eat a certain bread marked with a cross, dipped in water.  He started handing out this bread to those in need while praying and performing miracles.  He is the patron saint of bakers, souls in purgatory, and the dying.
