St. Pio of Pietrelcina, better known as Padre Pio, frequently chose a life of penance and humility - even at a young age. After joining the Friars, Padre Pio was divinely struck with the Stigmata (wounds corresponding to the injuries Christ received on the cross). Padre Pio carried out many miracles and had a deep devotion to Jesus in the Mass and prayed the Rosary often – something that he encouraged all to do.

As with many of our products, these items are handmade in small batches. This means that though we try to make products uniform, there may be slight differences from what you see in the product images (i.e. slight changes in knot formation, length, etc) due to the nature of handmade items.
